BlueChip Podcast exists because most production houses treat audio like content. We treat it like craft. Every principle below governs every episode we touch — no exceptions, no shortcuts, no compromise.
"They refused to rush our launch by even a single day. Three weeks later we understood why — our first episode outperformed six months of our old show."
— Roisin Gallagher, The Harbour SessionsWe edit with restraint. Breathing room between ideas isn't dead air — it's where your listener absorbs what you've said. We protect those pauses fiercely.
Before we record a single second, we define who should listen and — more importantly — who shouldn't. Precision in audience means loyalty in listenership.
We will delay a launch rather than release muddy audio. Listeners forgive imperfect ideas far more readily than they forgive imperfect sound.
A €3,000 microphone cannot save a podcast with no editorial direction. We build the strategic spine first — format, cadence, narrative arc — then we press record.
An extraordinary episode heard by twelve people is a failure. We architect distribution into the production timeline, not as an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Downloads are vanity. Completion rates, subscriber growth curves, and listener-to-action ratios are the metrics we track. If you want inflated numbers, we're the wrong studio.
Not every podcast needs us, and we don't pretend otherwise. This honest comparison helps you decide before we ever speak.
| Signal | We're a Strong Fit | We're Probably Not |
|---|---|---|
| Your Timeline | You're willing to invest 4–6 weeks in pre-production before episode one | You need to launch by Friday |
| Your Budget | You see production as an investment, not an expense line to minimise | You're comparing us against Fiverr quotes |
| Your Goals | Audience depth, brand authority, long-term listener relationships | Viral moments and download spikes |
| Your Involvement | You want a collaborative partner who challenges your ideas | You want someone to press buttons while you talk |
| Your Content | You have expertise, stories, or perspectives worth protecting | You're repurposing blog posts into audio with no adaptation |
"The fit-check conversation alone was worth the call. They told us we weren't ready — and they were right. We came back three months later with clarity, and the result was transformative."
— Declan Moriarty, Uncommon Ground PodcastWe define your listener persona, competitive landscape, format architecture, and editorial calendar. No recording happens here — only thinking, testing, and refining the blueprint.
Recording sessions (remote or in-studio), professional editing with our silence-first philosophy, sound design, music licensing, and master-quality mixing for every episode.
Platform distribution across all major directories, SEO-optimised show notes, audiogram assets for social, and a 90-day growth strategy with fortnightly performance reviews.
We take on a limited number of productions at any given time — typically no more than eight active shows. This isn't artificial scarcity. It's the only way we can honour Principle 03 (sound quality is non-negotiable) without burning out our team or diluting attention.
Our engagements begin with a paid diagnostic session. We don't do free consultations because free advice is worth exactly what you pay for it. The diagnostic fee is credited against your first production block if we move forward together.
If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you directly and recommend alternatives. We've built relationships with studios across Ireland and the UK, and we'd rather send you somewhere excellent than keep you somewhere adequate.
Tell us what you're building. We'll respond within two working days with either a diagnostic invitation or an honest recommendation to look elsewhere.
We read every inquiry personally. No autoresponders, no chatbots.
